Avoid Easy-to-Miss Gutter Mistakes

For the first time, I built gutters. I learned three important things.  

Lesson 1. Your gutter must extend beyond your roof end.

Lesson 2. The lower piece of downspout must cover the top.

Lesson 3. Apply thick coat of the sealer.

If you don’t apply enough sealer, it will leak. Above is the shot I got in winter.
