Build Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder

I made a bird feeder to help birds in cold weather.  

I cut 5 panels using 1x4 boards. 2 panels for the roof. 2 panels for the sides. 1 panel for the base. And I cut 2 panels using 1x2 boards for the tray.

• Tray 2 panels 2x8 inches

• Side 2 panels 4x6 inches 

• Roof 2 Panels 4x8 inches 

• Base 1 panel 4x8 inches 

I glued the roof panels.

And put it on a thin curtain pole. 

I added a plastic cake cover to protect it from squirrels.

There was no squirrels traffic with the cake cover. How do I know? I put a walnut & a hazelnut for about 3 months. They were not taken by them.

Many birds visited

“Chickadee” 

“Titmouse”

“Cardinal”

“Junco”

Never knew I have so many birds around. Try it. You will be surprised.
