Harvest Cucumber Seeds

Here are the steps to collect cucumber seeds.

Wait till they’re completely ripe. Past the point when you normally harvest cucumbers. Leave a couple of cucumbers In the vine till October. They will get so big & yellow.  

Once harvested, cut them in half.

Scoop out the seeds and place them in a bowl.

Gently wash them. Non-viable seeds will float to top. Also try to remove the pulp.

Strain the seeds and dry them in the sunlight.

Store them in a paper bag. Now you will be ready for the next season.
