There are many animals living around my garden.

  • Deer

  • Rabbit

  • Skunk

  • Coyote

  • Wild Turkey

  • Squirrel

The ultimate enemy is “Chipmunks.” Because they eat fruits and also damage plants. This year, I tried “organza bags” to protect fruits.

But they didn’t help. The bags were all torn.

The most infuriating thing was that they even ate unripe fruits.

I also tried out plastic mesh bags, but they didn’t last either. They found a way to tear out the bags and ate the young fruits.

I found 2 interesting things this summer.

  1. Chipmunks didn’t touch the fruits where mints were growing

  2. Many fruits were saved on the trellis
